Hours: 12:00pm to 4:00am, Seven Days A Week

The Low Down
Formally Lace 2 Gentlemen’s Club and sister club to Stiletto, Go-Go-Rama and Lace, Diamond Club is one of the numerous mid-sized gentlemen’s clubs that you’ll find dotting the Manhattan landscape and catering to the plethora of business professionals and locals alike. I arrived at the club at around 2:00pm on a slow Friday afternoon; not my usual time for gentlemen’s club reviews but necessary due to my travel plans. I rated the club on a scale of one to five stars, with five being the best possible score.

Location & Facilities – 4 Stars
Diamond Club, an “18 to enter, 21 to drink” gentlemen’s club located on the border of Hell’s Kitchen and three blocks from Times Square, is a two-story club with a unique layout that I’ve only seen in a couple of gentlemen’s clubs before: the bar area, with an upscale, trendy design including two large flat screens, is in the front of the club with windows anyone can see into from the street. The “typical gentlemen’s club amenities” of poles and couches are located in a separate area in the back of the club. The showroom is sizable, with two stages where the dancers are allowed to perform topless. The second floor features two VIP rooms with couches and tables.

Staff – 4 Stars
While I didn’t interact much with the staff, I couldn’t do justice to this review without mentioning the stunningly sexy bartender Katarina, who would’ve easily been the hottest dancer if she wasn’t working behind the bar.

Food & Drink – 4 Stars
As with many of the New York City gentlemen’s clubs, Diamond Club offers a 2-4-1 drink special but the drinks you purchase must be identical. I settled on a Corona for $10.00 before I ventured back into the showroom. The club offers a well-stocked bar, with a good mix of domestic and imported beers. Unfortunately the club doesn’t serve food, so eat before you arrive at the club or make plans to visit one of the many dining options available nearby.

Dancers – 4.5 Stars
For a slow Friday afternoon, the club had several attractive dancers including beauties Chantel and Marisol, but the highlight of my trip to the club was getting a couch dance from the tattooed beauty Alyssa.

Value – 4 Stars
Despite a one drink minimum and restrictive 2-4-1 special, the club’s amenities are very good for those on a budget. The club does charge a cover $5.00 from noon to 8:00pm and $20.00 from 8:00pm to 4:00am. In addition, couch dances are $20.00 per song.

Website & Social Media – 3 Stars
Despite being part of a larger chain of clubs, and having some very beautiful models (who, they claim, aren’t actual dancers from the club) on their site, DiamondClubNYC.com only offers some basic information such as club address, directions and contact information. The website would certainly serve its customers much better by providing pictures of its dancers, interior pics of the club, better party information and links to social media.

In Brief…
While the club will do well as a good local’s gentlemen’s club, you will find that Diamond Gentlemen’s Club lacks in some of the key areas, such as a modern website and great specials, that would make it a major player amongst the heavily populated Manhattan gentlemen’s club scene.
