Philly’s Got Hot – Horny TEENS! Wait! What?

Reposted with permission by SWOP-Philly

Last week for my birthday a friend bought me a new TV. So fabulous! Excitedly, I explored every facet of my new remote control and cable access.

So, imagine my shock to see, in the EVENT section, a category called UNCENSORED TV, with a film rental available called, 10 STAR TEENS.
It looks real popular with a 5.0 star rating for the 9.99 rental.

Amazing, isnt? At a time when consensual adults are currently arrested and humiliated for acts related to prostitution under CEASE / Demand Abolition, and affiliated nationally implemented multi task force agency stings defining themselves as the Nordic model, I can go on to my Philly cable, and without even hitting the ADULT section, find porn that includes a popular TEEN title. I view this as a gross contradiction, and signs of a much greater problem.

Now – to clarify – I think it is great that at 20 years old, Canadian porn actress August Ames is doing well. I am not – saying ban her, however –

– I CAN NOT condone titles seeming to celebrate teens in commercial sex acts, especially when adults here in America are experiencing harsh legal consequences for those identifying as consensual adult sex workers, their customers and/or allies.

So I wrote Verizon, and included the new VN CSE in the communication:

“Customer request to remove “10 Star Teens” in the “Uncensored TV” section —- not even in the “Adult” section —- from the Philadelphia, PA Verizon FIOS rental catalog:

I do not find it acceptable, Verizon, that teen porn – or porn promoting itself as featuring teens – is available in the uncensored tv section of my Verizon FIOS cable in Philadelphia.

I am c/c-ing this email to attorney Shea Rhodes at Villa Nova Law’s Institute to Address Commercial Sexual Exploitation (CSE).

Any and all titles stating to include teens in commercial sex acts should be removed from Verizon FIOS in Philadelphia.

I am requesting this be investigated to establish why – especially during a national trafficking initiative protecting minors from commercial sexual exploitation – this five star favorite of “hottest and horniest Teen babes” is available for a 9.99 rental fee on my television. I am not okay with it.”

Hey Philly! What do you think?

Should consensual adult sex work be illegal, but rental films titled as teen sex be easily available on the EVENTS category of your local cable television?

  1. Interestingly, neither Verizon or Villa Nova Institute to Address Commercial Exploitation have responded, C.J. The general consensus in discussion around town is to keep the title, though put it in the “Adult” section as opposed to the “Event / Uncensored TV” section where kids can easily access it. I still find it amazing that the current PA legislative system has a problem with consensual adult escorting, though not with language implying minors in pornography. Bada Bing. Bada Bang. Who am I to have an opinion anyway, right? LMAO
