Since Amnesty International’s International Council Meeting (ICM) voted in favor of the decriminalization of sex work globally, sex workers across the United States (and globally) have been wondering – now what? NJRUA partnered with the Dallas Chapter of the Sex Workers Outreach Project in attending Amnesty International-USA’s 2016 annual general meeting (AGM) in Miami, Florida and sought to find out what it means for sex workers nationally moving forward. The following podcast is the result of interviews with Janet Duran of NJRUA, Linsay Morgan of SWOP-Dallas, and Logan Haynsworth of SWOP-Dallas. Speaking on behalf of AI-USA’s Board of Directors during a Townhall discussion, Terry Kay Rockefeller (Chair of the Planning & Priorities Committee) answered what sex workers can expect nationally on the new decriminalization policy.
