The Low Down
After having now reviewed four gentlemen’s clubs under the Hustler brand name, the first three being the Hustler Clubs in Baltimore and New York City as well as the Barely Legal club in New Orleans, I can honestly say that Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club is rapidly becoming one of my favorite gentlemen’s club chains in the country! No matter what city you’re in, this chain excels in providing a quality customer experience by providing not only a beautiful interior and gorgeous dancers, but also tons of drink and VIP options for the party of one to the party of a hundred! I arrived at the club at around 10:00pm on a Tuesday evening during my most recent trip to New Orleans for the Gentlemen’s Club Expo. The party never stops on Bourbon Street, and I certainly found no shortage of beautiful dancers when I arrived. As with all of my gentlemen’s club reviews, I’ve rated the club on a scale of one to five stars, with five being the best possible rating. Before we get started, I did have the chance to review quite a number of gentlemen’s clubs during my most recent trips to New Orleans, and there are a few things you should be aware of before you head out to the Bourbon Street gentlemen’s club scene:

New Orleans Club Rule #1: Stick With The Name Brands!
While the name brand clubs, such as Penthouse, Hustler and Déjà Vu, may be the more upscale and pricier options, the quality of your experience will usually be much better here than the little hole-in-the-wall clubs on Bourbon Street (several of which have been shut down between my visits in 2015 and 2016). The name brand club parent companies have put a ton of money into giving “Vegas-quality style” to the older historic properties on Bourbon Street. Despite the name brand stigma, however, drink prices are usually the same and you can still enjoy yourself on a conservative budget.

IMG_1163New Orleans Club Rule #2: Be Careful On Bourbon Street!
While this could be said for any gentlemen’s club, be careful of your surrounding on your way to, while on and leaving Bourbon Street. With a high crime rate and excessive outside drinking, Bourbon Street can get a little sketchy, especially in the late evening, so it’s best not to wander around by yourself and arrange your transportation in advance.

Location & Facilities – 4.5 Stars
Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club is located in the heart of the action on Bourbon Street between Iberville and Bienville Streets. Parking is limited so, if you aren’t a local, be sure to take a taxi, pedi-cab or Uber/Lyft to make sure you get there and back cheaply and safely. While the exterior is adorned by Hustler magazine covers and features Bourbon Street’s largest balcony, the two-story interior is well-appointed with modern décor yet enough N’Awlins flair so you don’t forget that you’re still in the Big Easy. The first floor features a spacious bar area, outside patio with fire pits and plenty of seating throughout. The upstairs VIP area is where the magic happens, featuring a large bar, white couches, two large flat screen televisions and numerous private rooms for you and the dancer of your choice to sneak away to.

Staff – 5 Stars
As with many of the name-brand national clubs, you’ll find the level of service that you receive from the staff to be top-notch, and Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club New Orleans is no exception. While I thoroughly enjoyed the service provided by my server Erin and waitress Shayna, I have to especially thank Gabriel, the manager on duty, for a personal tour of the club, including all of the private rooms and the amenities that each have to offer.

IMG_1159Food & Drink – 4.5 Stars
The club doesn’t serve food, which isn’t a negative as none of the local gentlemen’s clubs do and you can certainly partake of the amazing Bourbon Street restaurant options. The club features a large variety of domestic and imported beers and excellent bottle and champagne offerings. I enjoyed my standard go-to drink of Malibu and pineapple juice for $10; comparable price to other clubs in the area.

Dancers – 4.5 Stars
While the customers, mostly locals, seemed to outnumber the dancers 2:1, I did have an enjoyable private dance with Jane, a gorgeous dancer from Miami. The dancers themselves are extremely attractive and a pleasurable variety of ethnicities, but you can also find some of the hottest adult film stars and feature dancers, such as Dani Daniels, Rubberdoll, Teagan Presley, Allie Haze and Alexis Texas just to name a few, taking the stage.

IMG_1183Value – 4 Stars
While you can certainly enjoy Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club New Orleans on almost any budget, the club itself caters (very well, I might add) to a higher end clientele. Cover charge is $5 while admission to the upstairs VIP section is $10. Be sure to check out their website for how to text to receive free admission. You’ll need to shell out $40 per one-song dance… and have your cash ready as you’ll need to prepay your songs for their in-booth dancer timer to start, which I found rather annoying. The private rooms made up for this, however. Ranging from a few hundred for a semi-private room to a few thousand for a spacious private room, the club’s private rooms range from simple to extravagant, with some of the higher-end ones offering bottles of high-end champagne, such as Ace of Spades and Dom Rosé available to you.

Website & Social Media – 4.5 Stars
While not nearly as elegant as the club itself, offers all of the necessary information to make your visit a fun and exciting one. The website features event information, party packages, pictures from some of the club’s wild parties and links to their Facebook, Twitter and other social media pages.

In Brief…
Larry Flynt’s Hustler Clubs set the standard for what a high-end club that caters to a diverse mix of customers should be, and their New Orleans location is no exception. Make sure to put this club on your list the next time New Orleans is your party destination.
