Shake Ya Ass: Mystikal to Perform Live at XBIZ Miami

miamiReposted from

LOS ANGELES, CA – XBIZ is pleased to announce Grammy-nominated artist Mystikal will perform live at the nighttime poolside hip-hop special event at XBIZ Miami, presented by Chaturbate, at the Mondrian hotel on May 31.

The XBIZ Miami special event is sponsored by Paxum and ImLive.

The New Orleans-based rapper garnered a massive following in the 1990s after the release of his self-titled debut album, “Mystikal,” which was a testament to his love for his sister who passed away while recording.

His sound, described by critics as a mix of “prominent synthesizers, complex rhythms and drawling raps laced with regional slang,” impressed fellow New Orleans artist, the legendary Master P, who signed him to a contract.

Mystikal enjoyed a prosperous career under Master P’s No Limit Records label, delivering four albums under the brand. His record, “Tarantula,” received a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album in 2003, while singles “Shake Ya Ass” and “Bouncin’ Back (Bumpin’ Me Against the Wall)” scored nominations for Best Rap Solo Performance.

His hit song “Danger (Been So Long)” achieved global success and landed him the #1 spot on the “Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks” list,” #3 on the “Hot Rap Singles” list, #8 on the “Rhythmic Top 40” chart and #14 on Billboard’s “Hot 100” chart.

In addition to successfully topping major music charts, he has worked with rap and R&B icons such as Ludacris, Lil Jon and Lil Wayne. He was also invited to open for rap pioneers Run-D.M.C and Doug E. Fresh at an outdoor concert held at the Theme Center.

As for recent endeavors, Mystikal collaborated with famed producer Mark Ronson in 2015 to release “Feel Right,” which broke into Billboard’s “Top 50 U.S. Rhythmic” chart. He has performed alongside Ronson on notable television shows such as, “Saturday Night Live” and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

“I am always excited to perform, but to do a show for XBIZ? I’m going to have to go extra hard!” Mystikal enthused. “XBIZ and the adult industry are man’s best friends. XBIZ Miami is going to be an amazing event. Don’t miss out!”

The splashin’ poolside live performance is the perfect warm-up for XBIZ Miami’s crown jewel event.

Set for Thurs., June 1, the inaugural XBIZ Cam Awards, presented by MyFreeCams, will celebrate the top personalities powering the growth and popularity of cams, capping the summer conference with a glitzy red-carpet event that captures the essence of sultry South Beach.

With more than 300,000 pre-nominations received from fans for their favorite performers, the XBIZ Cam Awards is set to become the biggest honor for cam talent in North America.

This year’s XBIZ Miami’s special focus on live cams, virtual reality and interactive technologies will also feature top cam stars such as Jenny Blighe, Devious Angel, FloraBella, LittleRedBunny and Ramona Flour, who will serve as the official Show Ambassadors.

A Cam Broadcaster Lounge, cam model fashion photo shoots and a dedicated cam education track, with sessions covering camming basics, sex toys, kink, social media, chat room engagement, personal finance and more, all anchor the show’s cam-forward schedule.

Among the many special events slated for this year’s XBIZ Miami are Scuba Spectacular, XBIZ Charity Golf Tournament, WIA Booze ‘n Buns poolside mixer, daily happy hour events, the annual Miami Vice White Party, the all-new Wet ‘n Wild Cam Model Pool Party, Miss XBIZ” Bikini Contest and an awards show after party at club E11even.
