COX Charities has awarded Refuge for Women Las Vegas with a $5,000 grant that will enable Refuge for Women to establish a computer lab for job reparation and career development for their residents that have come out of the sex trafficking industry. COX Charities is equipping their local Las Vegas residents in their recovery and re-entry into society as a sustainable individual. One Refuge resident said, “being able to sit at a computer, practice my computer skills and obtain useful job information is building my confidence and self-esteem. I feel better equipped to go on a job interview because of the practice and training I am receiving through Refuge for Women.”
