CineKink Kinky Film Festival Tour Returns to Chicago

cinekink2Reposted from CineKink

Films that celebrate and explore a wide diversity of sexuality will screen November 10-11, as CineKink, “the kinky film festival,” returns to Chicago for a sizzling weekend rendezvous, taking place at Leather Archives & Museum (6418 N. Greenview Ave., Chicago).

On Friday, November 10 at 7 PM, KINK & COMMUNITY offers a short film sampling of the many predilections that make up the world of kink – and a CineKink award-winning look at the museum that strives to document them all. Selections in this program include ‘Spank You Very Much’ (Thomas Florek), ‘Folsom Street’ (Aron Kantor), ‘You’ve Got Tail’ (Danny Tayara), ‘Playing Scrabble’ (Jessie Sparkles, Paradoxipus & The Linguist), ‘Coming of Age’ (Jan Soldat), ‘Please May I Come Mistress?’ (Pandora Blake) and ‘By The People: 25 Years Of Community Archiving at Leather Archives & Museum’ (Christina Court).

And at 9 PM, BEST OF CINEKINK/2017 is a collection of sexy shorts deemed the best during CineKink’s most recent festival run. This year’s assortment, with works ranging from mildly spicy to quite explicit, includes an animated trip to the erotic book section, a swinger hook-up gone slightly awry, and a surreal, kink-filled journey set in New York’s infamous Chelsea Hotel. The line-up features ‘Folsom Street’ (Aron Kantor), ‘Tabook’ (Dario van Vree), ‘Like Totally Hot Couple Seeking Same’ (Marcel Simoneau & Kirsten Russell), ‘Trinity’ (Ms. Naughty), ‘The Hutong Vibe’ (Fan Popo) and ‘The Erotic Dreams of the Chelsea Hotel’ (Tony Notarberardino & Cassandra Rosebeetle).

On Saturday, November 11 at 8 pm, as the nation confronts current political realities, NASTY WOMEN is a collection of short films that stake a claim for female agency and the power of speaking one’s desires. The program includes ‘F*ck Yes: Protection’ (Emily Best), ‘Sapiosexual’ (Kristin Heckler), ‘Since You Asked So Nicely’ (Ms. Naughty), ‘My Moaning Neighbor’ (Erika Lust), ‘Pancit Canton’ (Taylor Bennett), ‘See Me’ (Ms. Naughty), ‘Broken Hearts Are For Assholes’ (Margie Schnibbe aka Vena Virago), ‘Birth’ (Lilith Luxe & Jesse James) and ‘F*ck Yes: Fingers’ (Emily Best + Chicago filmmakers Jessica King & Julie Keck).

“The staff and volunteers of the Leather Archives & Museum are thrilled to have CineKink back for a full weekend event filled with incredible films,” said Jeffrey Storer, Operations Manager for the LA&M, which has hosted the CineKink screening tour for the past decade.

Admission for CineKink: Chicago is $10 door/$8 advance per screening. Friday double-feature tickets are $15/advance; a limited number of weekend passes, good for all three screenings, are available for $20 advance; $15/LA&M or CineKink members. 18 and over only.

The CineKink 2017 festival tour is sponsored by Bowery Bliss, National Coalition for Sexual Freedom, Leather Archives and Museum, and njoy.
